CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING

Is your team up for the challenge
Dragon boating is becoming one of the fastest growing sports in Australia and has been called the “ultimate team sport” because of the high importance for every crew member to be able to work together as one unit in order to collectively achieve.

If you’re looking for a fantastic, fun and energetic activity for your corporate training or team bonding activity, look no further than dragon boating. ACDC personnel have been successfully facilitating corporate training and team building sessions for many years.

Whether you are preparing to enter a corporate dragon boat regatta, or simply after a one- off team experience, we are more than happy to cater to your requirements. No experience is necessary. The qualities of an efficient crew on the water are the same as those in a productive team in the workplace.

Team building benefits:

  •  Create a memorable experiences with your colleagues
  • Illustrate the importance of individual team member roles
  • Take participants out of their comfort zones
  • Manage resistance to change
  • Boost team motivation and retention levels
  • Improve communication and collaboration skills

Your team will have the chance to recognise and grow these key qualities in an enjoyable and relaxed environment through our sport.  With up to 20 paddlers on board a boat, participants cannot help but embrace the social aspect of this sport as well as the element of team work. For some, it may even spark their inner competitive spirit towards the end of the session. Good harmony within a team as well as the health benefits of a social physical activity has been well recognised by many corporate companies, institutions etc such as Adelaide Crows, Port Power, EFM, Flight Training Parafield to name a few. We are lucky to be based at Aquatic Reserve, West Lakes with wonderful waterways around Delfin Island with grassed areas and BBQ’s for relaxation and socialising afterwards.
